Welcome to the Lost In House TRIBUTE: this page is dedicated to the Lates and the Greats, the kings, the queens, the godfathers, the Gods, and grand- daddies, the masters and maestros, the places and faces, etc etc….  the djs and pioneers who were doing this house thing at a time since before the name house music even existed, and the places they were doing it.  It wasn’t until the 80’s that the music called house, which was actually disco and R&B, would be referred to as such, and as such would evolve and officially give birth to house and become house, in Chicago, and then NYC and the rest of the world.  Out of the ashes of disco was house born.  As Frankie Knuckles, the dj of the Warehouse where house music would get its name, so eloquently put it, “House music was simply disco’s revenge”.  Some of these legends and heroes are still with us today, but many have passed, and some as far back as decades ago.  But the mark they left on house music and underground dance music and culture is a testament of their lives and legacies.  This page is for them.  Their music and their spirit still live on, all over the world, wherever there is a club, and a dance floor, and a dj…
